Whether you have owned your property for nine months or nine hundred years, there comes a time when everyone wants to consider the possibility of selling their precious assets. If you are a property owner and are considering putting it on to the International market, you might like to contact either Bill Thomson in Italy or Rupert Fawcett in the London office to discuss the potential sale in complete confidence.

If appropriate we can prepare a tailor-made marketing campaign, organise professional photography and launch the property  onto the market using the Knight Frank web site
We can often achieve press coverage in international and  local property magazines.

Take the time to establish which is the most suitable agency for your property as you  will find that some are better than others at different types of property and above all  in different regions. Don’t give your house for sale to an agent who has to drive two  hours for each viewing, because you won’t get any!
Talk to the agency about their strengths and weaknesses. Try and understand how  many houses they have sold in your area in the last year and at what value.

Keep the property in a presentable condition where possible and please ensure that  you have all of the correct certifications prior to going to the market. Nothing is worse  than finding a buyer for a house that turns out to be unsaleable for two years while  planning permits are obtained.

For viewings always ensure the house is opened in advance and looking appealing. Try not to leave barking dogs and children’s toys in the drive, make the beds and do  the washing up!

The Knight Frank Italian Network of residential offices was established in Italy in 1994, starting from a tiny office in the middle of the Chianti region.  Since then our network has expanded at a steady pace to cover virtually all of the areas of interest to the International market. As a result, whatever you are looking for, the range of properties to choose from is vast. You will find ruins to restore, Tuscan farmhouses and wine estates, holiday villas and city apartments. The combination of a large international agency in London losely connected to local, bi-lingual associates, makes this kind of collaboration solid, trustworthy and reliable.

Consult our award winning web site: with more than 500 properties available all over Italy.

We have recently added a Milan office to our network, which has both Residential and Commercial expertise in one office.

If necessary , we can put you in contact with our network colleagues who will be able to offer advice on their specific areas. See the Italian Network map for all the areas we cover.

You can contact Bill Thomson  +39 0577 738908 or Rima Stubbs +39 055 218457 for a completely confidential discussion of your property needs.
